Sehlac and The Stop Killer Robots Campaign

One Sehlac’s main objectives is to work towards measurable reductions of armed violence: supporting effective disarmament and the fulfillment of victims’ rights at the local, regional and international level. This is why Sehlac has participated in campaigns such as Cluster Coalition Munition (CMC) or the International Campaign to ban landmines (ICBL). At the same time, Sehlac is in the process of joining the ICAN and INEW campaigns (nuclear and explosives respectively).

Unfortunately, not only are existing arms still produced but technology is also contributing to the appearance of new and more modern machines that destroy and kill. For this reason, Sehlac has decided to join the campaign to stop killer robots and, in this way, cooperate in the disarmament of these kinds of arms, which have the power to make the world, and humanity, disappear in seconds.

Sehlac strongly supports joining the call of the “stop killer robots” campaign to fight against the development of any system designed to take decisions over human life.

We believe that only human beings can guarantee the right to life and ensure the respect and fulfillment of international humanitarian law as appropriate.
